INTRO
As part of a web design course at UQAM, we explored the use of Figma as a tool for building websites, with a strong emphasis on UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface) design principles. The project goal was to create an informative and interactive website that demonstrated our understanding of digital design fundamentals.
MANDATE
The objective of the project was to conceptualize, design, and prototype a website using Figma. The site had to be both educational and engaging, showcasing the thoughtful application of UX/UI principles. I chose to focus on the hanbok, traditional Korean clothing, reflecting my cultural background and personal interest in fashion.
RESULT
The final product is a clean, minimal, and interactive website prototype that introduces users to the hanbok in a modern and accessible way. The design effectively balances educational content with visual simplicity, allowing users to explore the beauty and structure of this traditional attire through a contemporary digital interface.

PROCESS
I began by researching the different components and historical significance of the hanbok to ensure the content would be accurate and informative. Using Figma, I designed wireframes and iterated on layouts with a minimalist aesthetic to emphasize clarity and ease of navigation. Throughout the process, I prioritized interaction and intuitive design, ensuring the site was not only visually appealing but also user-friendly.
