INTRO
A member of the UdeM Chess club kindly asked me to design a poster for their next semester. They expressly asked to respect the current design of their logo while retaining certain obligatory texts and information for the school posters.
MANDATE
In the process of creating a compelling poster, our goal was to seamlessly integrate the existing logo design with elements of chess, maintaining the authenticity of the logo while captivating the attention of potential new members. This involved a thoughtful fusion of aesthetics, ensuring that the incorporation of chess seamlessly complemented the logo.
RESULT
The final result materializes in the form of a dynamic poster which faithfully reflects the visual identity of the Chess UdeM club. The game is clearly highlighted, capturing attention and expressing the fun and friendly character of the club. This creative aims to attract new members by providing an engaging and positive first impression.

PROCESS
As part of this project, my objective was to make the game clearly identifiable and place it at the heart of the poster. I drew on the color palette and mood of the existing poster, ensuring visual consistency with the graphic elements already in place.In choosing the color palette, I sought to capture the essence of the game of chess while preserving visual continuity with the club's previous communication materials. Each shade has been deliberately selected to reflect the friendly spirit of the club and pique the interest of new members.The layout of the game on the poster was designed to highlight it while maintaining visual balance with the other elements, in accordance with the club's requirements. Particular attention was paid to the typography and arrangement of information, thus guaranteeing optimal readability and compliance with school standards.
